Car Seat Donation
To Our Business Community:
Bensenville President-Elect Frank DeSimone and the Village Board have sought the assistance of the Bensenville Chamber of Commerce to assist with a program that will raise funds for child car seats. This effort comes after last week’s horrific car crash in Bensenville, which involved five unrestrained children. A link to that story can be found by clicking here.
The Bensenville Chamber of Commerce has been working closely with the Village of Bensenville, the Bensenville Fire Protection District and especially, with the Bensenville Community Foundation to develop a plan for this responsible initiative. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3), which will allow your donation to be tax deductible.
The goal of this program is to provide free car seats to residents of Bensenville who are in need so we can help prevent future tragedies like the one that occurred last week. Additionally, instructions on how to safely install the car seat will be provided to ensure all precautions are taken. The Chamber of Commerce and all our partners are proud to take part in this initiative. We believe it is our responsibility as members of this community to support those who are less fortunate and protect the well-being of the children of this community.
Your tax-deductible donation can be made payable to:
The Bensenville Community Foundation P.O. Box 371 Bensenville, IL 60106
Please do not forget to note “Car Seats” in the memo section of your check.
